IEEE BigData 2013: Research Track
BigData 2013's major topics include but not limited to: Big Data Architecture, Big Data Modeling, Big Data As A Service, Big Data for Vertical Industries (Government, Healthcare, etc.), Big Data Analytics, Big Data Toolkits, Big Data Open Platforms, Economic Analysis, Big Data for Enterprise Transformation, Big Data in Business Performance Management, Big Data for Business Model Innovations and Analytics, Big Data in Enterprise Management Models and Practices, Big Data in Government Management Models and Practices, and Big Data in Smart Planet Solutions.
The BigData 2013 research track seeks original, UNPUBLISHED research papers reporting substantive new work in various economic properties of services in the field of services computing. Research papers MUST properly cite related work (see Literature Recommendations section) and clearly indicate their contributions to the field of services computing. Major Topics include but not limited to: Economic Analysis, Enterprise Transformation, Business Performance Management, Business Model Innovations and Annalytics, Enterprise Management Models and Practices, Government Management Models and Practices, and Smart Planet.

Research Track to submit your papers to BigData 2013
Submitted manuscripts will be limited to 8 (IEEE Proceedings style) pages and REQUIRED to be formatted using the IEEE Proceedings template. Unformatted papers and papers beyond 8 pages will not be reviewed. Electronic submission of manuscripts (in PDF or Word format) is required. Detailed instructions for electronic paper preparation and submission can be found at Submission Section.
At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register to the conference and present the paper. One Best Paper award and one Best Student Paper award will be granted at BigData 2013. The first author of the best student paper must be a full-time student.

About the Technical Committee on Services Computing
IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Services Computing (TC-SVC) is a multi-disciplinary group whose purpose is to advance and coordinate work in the field of Services Computing carried out throughout the IEEE in scientific, engineering, standard, literary and educational areas.
Services Computing has become a cross-discipline that covers the science and technology of bridging the gap between Business Services and IT Services. The underneath breaking technology suite includes Web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA), cloud computing, business consulting methodology and utilities, business process modeling, transformation and integration. This scope of Services Computing covers the whole lifecycle of services innovation research that includes business componentization, services modeling, services creation, services realization, services annotation, services deployment, services discovery, services composition, services delivery, service-to-service collaboration, services monitoring, services optimization, as well as services management. The goal of Services Computing is to enable IT services and computing technology to perform business services more efficiently and effectively.
